Thank you, Douglas! It also brings a question when a work is ready, which I’m sure you have found the answer to. I’m an impulsive, impatient person, and sometimes this part is the hardest — keep editing and not sharing, while I’m dying to show it to someone and get a little feedback that I’m doing fine. Writing is a long and solitary task, but I don’t think I can stop myself from writing anymore.
I’m not sure I know when a work is ready - like you I am always eager to put a piece I have worked onboard ‘out there’… I never really wait and rarely spend enough time with a piece of work before sending it off… always needing the feedback. Keep writing. xxx
Beautiful reflections. And, as someone who writes, very profound.
This is very beautiful and I felt every word! I love this phrase "What they’re learning is how to wait"... the wisdom of birds.✨️🤍
Thank you, Diana! It is strange and remarkable how nature comes up with solutions when we’re tuned into it and ready to listen. 😊
The hardest lesson of all maybe. A lovely piece of writing. I share your anxiety! xx
